Job summary

Kimberton Whole Foods in Downingtown is seeking a part-time Produce Stocker to maintain fresh, attractive displays and support grocery operations. Schedule includes Sundays 7am-1:30pm, Mondays/Thursdays/Fridays 3:30pm-8:30pm, with up to 24 hours per week.

Pay ranges $14-$16 per hour based on experience, with age eligibility 16+. Benefits include a 15% store discount after 60 days and 401K with 3% match after 1000 hours.

Qualifications

• Comfort working in a cold environment (coolers and back stock).

• Receiving and stocking all incoming fresh produce and related items according to our SOP.
• Maintain abundant, dynamic, and fresh displays throughout the entire department.
• Assist the Front End by scanning customers' groceries and completing all transactions efficiently. Carefully and efficiently bags groceries.

Kimberton Whole Foods in Downingtown is looking for a part-time Produce Stocker!

Set Schedule: Part-time, up to 24 hours per week.

• Sundays 7am-1:30pm
• Mondays 3:30pm-8:30pm
• Thursdays 3:30pm-8:30pm
• Fridays 3:30pm-8:30pm

Pay: $14- $16/hr depending on experience

Age Requirement: Must be 16 years or older.

Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.

DAILY OPERATIONS: The Produce Stocker's primary responsibilities to execute the following.

• Provide exceptional customer service to all.
• Receiving and stocking all incoming fresh produce and related items according to our SOP.
• Maintain abundant, dynamic, and fresh displays throughout the entire department.
• Assist the Front End by scanning customers' groceries and completing all transactions efficiently. Carefully and efficiently bags groceries.

Requirements

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

• Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) - the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.
• Lifting, gripping and carrying objects - up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.
• Stooping, squatting, & kneeling - stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
• Walking - short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
• Standing- prolonged standing.
• Work environment - movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).
• Climate - ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
