Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to provide outstanding customer service, share product knowledge, and maintain attractive, well-stocked displays in our Fresh departments. You will interact with customers, help them find items, and work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery to ensure smooth operations.

What You'll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and wellrun store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
