Meijer is hiring a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in our Fresh departments. You’ll engage customers, build connections, keep displays fresh, and ensure products meet safety and quality standards.

This role offers weekly pay and opportunities for advancement within a family-oriented company that serves communities. You’ll work in a fast-paced store environment, stocking, merchandising and helping customers across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
