Job Title: Part-Time Associate

This is a part-time position. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires a defined level of product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop.

Responsibilities include processing, packaging, and stocking produce according to standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, reloading salvage, and performing floral clerk duties when assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Personal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, willingness to participate in and complete required training, and teamwork to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
2. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination.
3. Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and communication in English; effective in small group presentations.
4. Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction using American money and weight measurements.
5. Reasoning Ability: Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions and solve problems involving basic variables.
6. Certificates and Licenses: Completion of company training including orientation, food safety, customer service, safety, and product knowledge.
7. Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, handle objects, reach, talk, hear, taste, smell, climb, stoop, kneel, lift up to 60 pounds, and perform visual tasks. Reasonable accommodations can be made for disabilities.
8. Work Environment: Work in a cool environment (55-60°F), frequently exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, and cold. Noise level is moderate to loud.
