This is a part-time position. Primary responsibility is to Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an excellent place to work and shop.

Responsibilities include processing, packaging, and stocking produce according to standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, and reloading salvage. Duties of floral clerk may be performed when assigned.

Personal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, willingness to participate in training, and teamwork to increase customer satisfaction and sales.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or an equivalent combination.

Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction using units of money and weight.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to understand and carry out detailed instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables.

Certificates and Training: Completion of company training including orientation, food sanitation, safety, and product knowledge.

Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, handle, reach, talk, hear, and taste or smell regularly; occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must lift/move up to 60 pounds. Vision abilities include close, color, and depth perception.

Work Environment: Constantly in a cool environment (55-60°F), frequently exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals. Occasionally exposed to loud noise. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
