Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Produce Department Associate to provide quality customer service and maintain store standards within Produce and Perishable areas. You will help customers, assist with ordering, receiving and displaying merchandise, and ensure safety guidelines are followed.

The role emphasizes fast, friendly service, proper use of inventory systems like ACIS and CAO, and adherence to Food Lion dress code. Training will be provided to meet company standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Ensure merchandise ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying follow policies.
• Unload trucks for the Produce Department.
• Understand and use ACIS and CAO systems.
• Follow Food Lion guidelines, policies and safety procedures.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions; report incidents as required.
• Wear Food Lion uniform and name badge when on duty.
