You will gain hands-on experience in fresh produce, learn display and packing techniques, and contribute to a fast-paced retail environment while delivering friendly service to shoppers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior produce or food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and visual presentation.
• Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude.
• A passion for serving people.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge, answering questions, and making personalized suggestions.
• Maintain product freshness through regular rotation and quality checks.
• Restock and rotate displays to ensure visual appeal and freshness.
• Accurately package, label, and price self-service items.
• Cut, trim, and prepare fruits and vegetables for display and packaged sales.
• Receive deliveries, unload trucks, break down pallets, and organize produce in prep areas and walk-in refrigerators.
• Maintain cleanliness of scales, cutting boards, tools, and prep areas in compliance with food safety standards.
• Safely operate produce equipment, including knives, scales, and pallet jacks.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.
