Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a Part-Time Produce Associate for our Grandville, Michigan location. The role focuses on maintaining and operating the produce department, including trimming, preparation, culling, and stocking displays while ensuring quality and safety.

You’ll assist with unloading deliveries and support guest experiences with helpful service and product knowledge. Responsibilities include weighing, labeling, rotating stock, and following safety and cleaning guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Must be able to work with fresh fruits, vegetables etc. without negative allergic consequences that adversely affect the ability to perform.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and prepare produce as directed.
• Weigh, package, label, and rotate produce and floral items.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and stocking displays.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked departments and follow safety guidelines.
• Notify the Manager when products or supplies need to be ordered.
• Support guest experience and suggestive selling with customers.

Apply now!**Location:**3960 44th St SW - Grandville, Michigan 49418**Position Summary:**This role is to maintain and operate the produce department including trimming and preparation of merchandise according to company and department standards; to ensure that the work shift contributes to the financial best interest of the store.
