Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers is seeking a part-time Retail Associate – Processor/Runner at our Midland, GA location. The role focuses on processing and sorting donated goods, stocking shelves, and rotating merchandise using a color‑coded system. You may be cross-trained to learn other areas of the retail operation.

Hours average 20–26 per week with shifts Mon–Sun. Starting pay is $13.00 per hour plus benefits such as PTO, 401k with company match and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Prior experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and sort donated goods quickly and accurately.
• Stock shelves neatly and rotate merchandise by color-coding system.
• Ensure donations are priced, processed and transported to sales floor in a timely manner.
• Help achieve production goals based on donations quality and quantity.
• Work in other store areas as needed by leadership.

As a Processor, you will maintain a high level of attention to detail to uphold the quality standard for donations. You will use decisive measurements to determine next steps for items under review within production time restraints and demonstrate customer commitment and personal effectiveness.

Part - Time

The Midland retail store, located on Flat Rock Court, is currently looking for a hardworking and dedicated Retail Associate – Processor/Runner. Retail Associate – Processor responsibilities include:

• Processes and sorts donated goods rapidly yet accurately.
• Stocks the store shelves in a neat and orderly manner.
• Rotates merchandise on a color-coded system.
• Identifies quality donations. Ensures donations are priced, processed, and transported to the sales floor in a timely manner.
• Achieves production goals based on the quality and quantity of donations.
• Works in other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.

You will be hired as a Retail Associate – Processor, however, you will be cross-trained and expected to learn and work all areas of the retail operation.

A full-time position averages 20 - 26 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate based on business needs (seasonal changes, donation volumes, etc.). Operating days will fluctuate based on store location. The Retail Associate – Processor must be available to work any shifts Monday through Sunday.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment; preferred.
• Warehouse experience, preferred.
