Job summary

Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform a variety of sonography procedures with independence and clinical judgment. The role supports radiographic diagnoses and may involve responsibilities across different career ladder levels.

Part-time, PRN schedule. Requires graduation from a school of Sonography or ARDMS/ARRT/CCI registration with licensure as applicable by state. Training and certification timelines are specified to ensure readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours or registered sonographer.
• State that certification or registry is required within specified timelines.
• Current Associate Sonographers moving to Sonographer title must complete required competencies.
• Advanced/Senior levels require additional registries and/or years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures at a technical level with independent judgment.
• Provide prescribed sonography examinations for radiographic diagnoses.
• Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures.
