Pima Medical Institute in San Marcos, CA is seeking a flexible, experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our campus as a Substitute OTA Instructor. This PRN/on-call role delivers pre-planned lectures, guides hands-on labs, and maintains instructional continuity when primary faculty are away.

Qualifications

• Clinical OT/OTA experience required.
• Teaching competency and classroom delivery skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• California OT/COTA license or credential active.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily lesson plans and lectures on an as-needed basis.
• Supervise labs and ensure safety during hands-on activities.
• Maintain an engaging, structured learning environment.
• Record attendance and document student progress during shifts.
• Coordinate with primary faculty and Program Director on coverage.
• Meet minimum education and licensure requirements.
