Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our team at West Central Prison in Zebulon, Georgia. The role involves psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment within a multidisciplinary team in a correctional setting.

The successful candidate will hold an MD or DO, be board eligible or certified in Psychiatry, and possess or be able to obtain an active license and DEA registration. This is a part-time, day-shift position offering strong compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or ability to obtain licensure.
• DEA registration or ability to obtain registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team in a correctional setting.
• Deliver patient-centered psychiatric care to inmates at West Central Prison.
