Job summary

The role emphasizes customer-facing interactions, fast and accurate service, and adherence to Food Lion policies and safety guidelines. Training will cover CBT and standard practices, with opportunities to grow in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the store and maintain standards as per the standard practice manual.
• Maximize sales through excellent customer service and proper use of promotions.
• Maintain price tags, signage, and accurate scanning for pricing changes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Report accidents and unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty.
