Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the store.
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness to create a positive shopping experience.
• Ensure advertising and sales materials are properly utilized.
• Replace price tags and scan items to ensure accuracy during price changes.
• Maintain signage for displays during price changes.
• Pull tags and hangs for items deleted and ensure proper tagging across departments.
• Verify prices and tags for items weekly using the handheld unit and correct differences.
• Maintain tags for new items and ensure scanning accuracy.
• Communicate pricing issues to the Customer Support Center as needed.
• Follow company guidelines, policies and standard practices, including Food Safety and Workplace Safety.
