Legacy Traditional Schools is seeking a Part-Time Preschool Teacher Assistant to support lead teachers with daily activities, supervise children, and assist during meals and transitions. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Food Handler’s Card/Certification is required.
• IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card must be obtainable and maintained.
• CPR and First Aid Certification is required.
• Criminal history background check is required.
• 6 months of experience in an Early Childcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in planning, developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum.
• Provide support to lead teachers in delivering daily lesson plans.
• Assist students individually or in small groups with activities to reinforce learning concepts.
• Adapt activities to support classroom goals and objectives.
• Monitor groups of students to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
