Job summary

Ascend Rehab Inc. in Livermore is seeking a Part-Time Preschool Support Staff/Assistant for our Little Miracles program serving children with developmental, learning, sensory, and language disorders.

You will join a team to provide warm, structured activities that foster early development and independence. Responsibilities include assisting teachers, supporting classroom routines from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and helping with diaper changes and gentle supervision.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum working with children ages 0-5.
• CPR certification required.
• 6 ECE units preferred but not required.
• Must be comfortable with diaper changes and assisting staff.

Responsibilities

• Support children during educational activities and routines.
• Assist staff with diaper changes and cleanup.
• Create a fun, inclusive environment to promote development.

Skills

Experience with special needs children

Bilingual (preferred)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Some College coursework in ECE (preferred)
