Job summary

Center for Human Services in El Dorado Springs, MO is seeking a part-time Substitute to assist during the absence of primary teachers. You will support developmentally appropriate activities aligned with MO Childcare Licensing Standards, ensuring health and safety.

The role requires maintaining CPR/First Aid certification, assisting with materials prep, maintaining ratios, and supporting evening events. Training and background screening are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Required education: High school diploma or GED/HiSET.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
• Strong computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate activities for children.
• Support adherence to MO Childcare Licensing Standards and EHS Performance Standards.
• Maintain infant/toddler CPR and First Aid certification; assist with preparing materials and classrooms.
• Maintain ratios and provide coverage in the classroom; assist with evening meetings and events.
• Follow regulatory requirements by attending required meetings and trainings.
• Help keep assigned areas clean and promote a positive safety culture.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
