Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet basic physical requirements (lift up to 50 pounds, diapering, transfers, position changes)
• Experience in preschool or special education setting preferred
• ParaPro Praxis certification preferred if Title I school

Responsibilities

• Assist assigned teaching personnel in supervising and instructing general and special education students
• Collect data regularly regarding skills across developmental domains
• Instruct students and develop peer interactions and social skills under teacher direction
• Adhere to district and school procedures and classroom safety guidelines
