Job summary

Cheer Athletics Omaha is seeking part-time Prep and Novice Cheer Coaches to join our growing staff. Coaches will co-coach teams, teach fundamentals, choreograph routines, and attend competitions. Must be able to coach stunting, tumbling, and choreography, and learn scoring rubrics.

Evening and weekend availability is expected. We value enthusiastic, reliable coaches who communicate with athletes, parents, and staff, and who keep safety a priority through CPR-certified training and strong

Qualifications

• Prior coaching experience with cheer teams is required.
• Ability to teach stunting, tumbling, and choreography, and learn scoring rubrics.

Responsibilities

• Co-coach one or more teams and lead practices.
• Coordinate routines from choreography to music.
• Maintain a safe, positive environment during practices.
• Communicate with athletes, parents and other coaches.
• Attend competitions and team events.
