Job summary

UPS is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee safety, production and attendance, and to train and develop workgroups. The role emphasizes maintaining high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, and safety across the department.

The successful candidate will lead initiatives, build cross-functional relationships, and promote a proactive, collaborative culture with a focus on continuous improvement and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs / 32 kgs.
• Willingness to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed at all times, in compliance with all requirements.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establishes a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication and continual improvement.

• Ensures on-boarding, orientation, and ongoing coaching for staff.
