Job summary

UPS is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead and train package handlers and clerks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and accuracy in daily tasks. This role focuses on maintaining high productivity while upholding UPS standards in a busy warehouse environment.

You will supervise attendance, submit timecards, facilitate meetings, and coordinate evaluations with management, all while upholding ethical standards and exceptional customer service. This position is permanent and on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong problem solving skills and multitasking ability.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Fast-paced warehouse environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Conducts and participates in group meetings.
• Coordinates evaluations with management.
• Determines best solutions for package concerns.
• Supervises daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely.
• Upholds UPS's high ethical standards and code of conduct.
