Job summary

Charter One is seeking a Part-Time PreK Program Aide for the 2026-2027 school year at American Leadership Academy- Applied Technologies. Candidates must have or obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card and meet immunization requirements.

The PreK Aide supports the classroom teacher by delivering quality education, assisting with activities, managing behavior, and supporting parent communication, while contributing to a collaborative educational setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• Current immunizations and TB test are required.
• CPR/First Aid Certification is required.
• Food handler's card is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning and implementation.
• Reinforce learning concepts and provide additional assistance as needed.
• Help maintain a positive and orderly environment.
• Help administer tests and assessments; support the teacher in grading assignments and providing feedback.
• Provide toileting and diapering support based on individual child needs while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and licensing standards.
• Observe and report on student progress, behavior, and engagement.
• Support communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and any concerns.
• Help keep the classroom clean and organized, ensuring materials and supplies are readily available.
• Encourage student participation.
• Other duties as assigned.

American Leadership Academy- Applied Technologies is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time PreK Program Aide for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

A PreK Aide supports the classroom teacher in delivering quality education to students. A PreK Aide will help with instructional activities, managing classroom behavior, and providing support to students as needed. Additionally, a PreK Aide may assist with administrative tasks and communication with parents,

contributing to a collaborative and effective educational setting.
