FC Cincinnati is seeking a dedicated FCC Pre-Academy/Academy Goalkeeping Coach to develop U8–U12 GK players within the club's GK philosophy. You will lead weekly and introductory sessions, support the pre-academy director, collaborate with academy GK coaches, and help recruit goalkeepers for the academy.

The role emphasizes energy, culture-building in the GK department, collaboration with staff, and involvement in scouting events and national try-outs to ensure player progression to the 1st Team.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of youth goalkeeper coaching experience.
• USSF C License preferred.
• GK License preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and macOS.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by FCC schedule.

Responsibilities

• Design Pre-Academy goalkeeper training plans for age bands U8 through U12.
• Lead U8–U12 Pre-Academy goalkeepers during all training sessions (and games).
• Support Pre-Academy director Adrian Parrish in setting up and running all sessions.
• Assist all FCC goalkeeping coaches as needed.
• Create a Pre-Academy GK curriculum alongside FCC GK coaches.
• Document all training sessions.
• Aid in GK scouting/recruitment within the Academy (try-outs, clinics, camps).
• Attend local and nationwide events.

Job Summary

As an FCC Pre-Academy/Academy Goalkeeping Coach, you are responsible for coaching and developing the FCC pre-academy goalkeepers U8 through U12 in the FCC GK philosophy. This individual will be leading the weekly training sessions, introductory sessions and supporting the pre-academy director at all sessions. The FCC Pre-Academy Goalkeeping Coach will work closely with the FCC Academy Goalkeeping Coaches and assist all FCC goalkeeping coaches at the club when needed. This role will demand a high level of energy and want to create the standards and culture in the FCC goalkeeping department from the grass roots. In addition, this role will include scouting & recruitment of goalkeepers for the FCC academy, liaise with fellow FCC goalkeeper coaches to ensure continuity of player development from academy through to the 1st Team.

What You’ll Do:

• Design Pre-Academy goalkeeper training plans for age bands U8 through U12

• Aid in goalkeeper scouting/recruitment within the Academy. This will include planning and implementing goalkeeper try-outs, clinics and camps as well as attending local and nationwide events.

What You’ll Need:

• USSF C License preferred
• GK License preferred
• 2-4 years of youth goalkeeper coaching background/experience
• Knowledge and know-how of Microsoft office/Apple os
• Valid US Driver’s license
• Ability to work outside of regular business hours including but not limited to weekends and holidays as required by the FCC game schedule, special events, and projects
