TCAT Jackson is seeking a Part-Time Practical Nursing Instructor to join the Practical Nursing Department on our Jackson campus. The role involves assisting with training students, classroom instruction, and supervising clinical experiences.

You will help identify clinical sites, stay current in nursing, and collaborate with administration on policy and technology updates. An active TN RN license, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and at least three years of recent clinical RN experience are

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Must hold active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with conducting training of students in Practical Nursing.
• Assist with curriculum instruction in the classroom.
• Supervise students' clinical experience as scheduled.
• Actively seek potential clinical sites for clinical training.
• Demonstrate a commitment to staying current in the nursing field.
• Confer with administration to gain knowledge and better understand policy, procedure, and technology changes.
