Job summary

Chartwells K12 in East Providence, RI is hiring a part-time Cashier/Food Service Worker for East Providence Public Schools, 2000 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence, RI 02915. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:45 am to 1:15 pm. Prior cashier experience preferred.

You will operate the POS system, assist the Chef, and maintain clean cashier and coffee stations. Perks include willingness to train and opportunities to learn in a school dining environment.

Qualifications

• Operates POS system and handles cash accurately.
• Provides friendly service at the cashier and food counter.

Responsibilities

• Operates Point of Sale system to process transactions.
• Prepares coffee and maintains clean cashier and coffee stations.
• Provides service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Cashiers according to procedures and assists with deposits at shift end.
• Inventories and restocks supplies and food items as needed.
• Keeps refrigerators and pantry items organized and rotated.
