Lanier Technical College is seeking an adjunct Political Science Instructor to teach at multiple campus locations. This part-time, non-benefits eligible position requires delivering instruction per approved syllabus, preparing course materials, and maintaining student records.

You will administer exams and ensure safety in training areas while meeting all deadlines. The role requires a Master’s in Political Science (or 18 graduate hours in the field) and experience in postsecondary teaching;

Qualifications

• Master’s in Political Science or a master’s with ≥18 graduate hours in Political Science from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Experience teaching in a postsecondary environment preferred.
• Experience teaching online instruction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction based on approved syllabus and course outcomes.
• Prepare curriculum and syllabus for coursework taught.
• Evaluate student progress and administer exams.
• Maintain records of student grades and attendance.
• Meet all deadlines and ensure safety in training areas.
