CSN is seeking part-time instructors to teach Political Science 101 courses through the CSN Jumpstart Program at a Clark County School District (CCSD) high school.

Salary is $1,000.00 per class, per semester, with courses/credits assigned may vary by semester. Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability. Closing date is 06/30/2027; documents may require a background check.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a Master's degree in political science from a regionally accredited college or university and at least 18 graduate credits in the subject being taught (from a regionally accredited college or university).
• Applicants must be pre-approved by the social sciences department and the Jumpstart Program before submitting an application in Workday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lectures and course materials.
• Develop exams, quizzes, and other assessment activities.
• Evaluate student learning and mastery of course outcomes.
• Participate in course and program assessment activities for accreditation and other purposes.
