Job summary

Willow Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation – Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a dependable Part-Time PM Dietary Aide to join our dietary team and help ensure residents receive meals in a clean, welcoming, and resident-centered environment.

You will assist with meal delivery, dining area setup, basic kitchen tasks, and sanitation, contributing to a positive dining experience for residents while maintaining safety standards and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to provide two forms of identification.
• Previous dietary, food service, or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Dependable, flexible, and willing to assist where needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or transport trays and carts as needed.
• Willingness to work part-time evening (PM) shifts based on facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals and food trays to residents in a timely and courteous manner.
• Assist with setting up and organizing tables in dining areas.
• Support the dietary team with meal preparation and basic kitchen tasks as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary food service areas.
• Assist with dishwashing, kitchen cleanup, and dining room sanitation.
• Monitor pantry supplies and notify management when items need to be restocked.
• Safely transport meal trays, carts, and supplies as needed.
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Provide friendly, respectful service while supporting residents' comfort and dignity.
