Founded in 2003, North County Landscape is locally owned and operated company providing top-tier landscape services. We're currently hiring an experienced and energetic individual to join our Plant/Bed Maintenance Crew.

Job Summary:
As a Plant/Bed Maintenance Crew Member, you will be responsible for maintaining planting beds and garden areas through proper horticultural practices. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in detailed landscape maintenance.

Responsibilities Include (bust not limited to):

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
  • Execute daily landscape maintenance tasks with attention to detail.
  • Use hand tools and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain annual flower beds, planters, and perennials.
  • Remove weeds and unwanted vegetation from beds, gravel areas, parking lots, and sidewalks.
  • Prune ornamental trees and shrubs following proper horticultural techniques.
  • Plant, transplant, cultivate, and care for various plants, shrubs, hedges, and trees.
  • Communicate effectively with management to ensure all work meets requirements.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and safety programs.
  • Complete daily work tickets.
  • Keep work vehicles and trailers clean and organized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Valid WA State diver's license with a clean, insurable driving record (MVR required).
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Capable of carrying a 20 lb. backpack blower.
  • Physically able to walk 2-9 miles per day, including up and down hills and stairs.
  • Able to bend, crouch, and perform physical task for extended periods.
  • Ability to drive a truck with an enclosed trailer .

Benefits:

  • Starting Pay: $21-$23/hour DOE
  • Schedule: Monday - Thursday (possibly Friday's)
  • Paid Holidays: 6 per year begins after 90 days
  • Paid Time Off: Begins after 90 days
