The YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is seeking a part-time Pilates Instructor to join the Collins and Katz Family YMCA in Los Angeles, CA. This role delivers safe, engaging group exercise classes, creates a welcoming environment, and supports member wellness and participation.

You will plan sessions across a range of fitness areas, monitor safety, maintain equipment, record class attendance, and contribute to community programs that advance our mission of healthy living for all in LA County.

Qualifications

• Current Pilates Instructor certification required; CPR certification required.
• Foundations of YMCA Group Exercise or equivalent ACE, AFAA, or ACSM Health Fitness Instructor.
• Y-ACE equivalency may be required if non-Y certifications lapse or renewals are needed.

Responsabilités

• Instructs Pilates classes in a safe, enjoyable environment to promote member wellness and engagement.
• Plan and lead group exercise sessions across assigned fitness areas; adapt for all abilities.
• Set up, monitor, and report equipment condition; enforce safety policies and procedures.
