Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Physics or a Master’s degree with eighteen graduate hours within Physics/Mathematical Physics.
• A criminal background check will be conducted.
• Teaching experience in a community college setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver instruction in didactic, lab, or classroom settings.
• Support and promote the college and department missions through quality instruction.
• Collaborate with chair and peers to revise curriculum and improve content mastery.
• Provide frequent, timely assessment and clear feedback on student performance.
• Document student progress and maintain attendance and learning outcomes records.
• Proctor exams and participate in departmental meetings and college committees.
• Maintain office hours proportionate to the instructional assignment.
• Deliver courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement with students.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
