Covenant HealthCare Partners, Inc. seeks a part‑time Physician Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the CIN/PHO with a focus on strategy, payer and value‑based care, and physician engagement. The role reports to CHP leadership and collaborates with the Hospital CFO and PO President.

Time commitment averages three days per week, centered on strategic initiatives rather than day‑to‑day clinical duties, enabling ongoing practice for physician leaders and sustainable governance.

Formación

• MD or DO with unrestricted Michigan medical license and current board certification.
• 8–10 years of clinical practice with at least 5 years of physician leadership experience (e.g., Medical Director/CMO) in CIN/ACO/PHO.
• Primary care background preferred; other specialties with population health/value-based care experience considered.
• Demonstrated success in population health, value-based care, quality improvement and physician network leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as senior physician executive and strategic leader of CHP, coordinating with Hospital CFO and PO President.
• Provide strategic direction and oversight of population health, care management, quality improvement, data/analytics, and contracting support through leadership.
• Lead payer and value-based care strategy with alignment to network performance and revenue objectives.
• Maintain relationships with CHP Board of Managers, Covenant Medical Center leadership, and physician leaders.
• Champion physician engagement and recruitment for value-based programs and leadership development.
• Ensure governance, compliance, and risk management for CIN/PHO with focus on transparency and sustainability.
• Represent CHP in external forums, health plan discussions, and community relationships.
