Job summary

Select Medical's Louisville outpatient facility is hiring a Physical Therapy Technician for part-time, weekdays, 10-15 hours per week. You will assist therapists with rehabilitation procedures and help keep center operations running smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED; preferred candidates have a Bachelor's in Exercise Science, CPR and First Aid certifications, and prior outpatient PT experience. Salary is $10.50 per hour, with 401(k) eligibility for eligible part-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's in Exercise Science/Health Sciences preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• First aid certification preferred.
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions.
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment.
• Play a significant role in center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a program, OSHA coordination, etc.).
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment.
