Peachtree Orthopedics in Atlanta, GA is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Tech to assist patients and prepare them for treatments under supervision.

The role involves helping patients dress, positioning, supporting exercises, assisting with hydrotherapy and therapeutic applications, transporting patients, and maintaining a clean work area. A Bachelor's degree preferred or 1–2 years related experience; BLS certification required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients to dress, undress, and put on/remove supportive devices.
• Secure patients into or onto therapy equipment.
• Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities.
• Assist Therapy Provider with routine treatments such as hydrotherapy, hot and cold packs, and paraffin bath.
• Transport patients to and from treatment area.
• Clean work area and equipment after treatment.
• Record treatment given and equipment used.
• Inventory and requisition supplies and equipment.

Educación

Bachelor's degree preferred

1–2 years related experience
