Job summary

ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance, a member of Therapy Partners Group, in Costa Mesa, seeks a part-time Physical Therapy Technician to support the outpatient orthopedic clinic. Schedule is 24 hours per week, Monday through Thursday afternoons (6-hour shifts).

Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, assisting patients, handling front desk tasks, collecting co-pays, triaging calls, and supporting therapists to ensure smooth, five-star patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent. College degree in a related health field preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Welcomes patients and assists with dressing/undressing as needed.
• Does laundry and maintains clean linens.
• Records daily notes under supervision and with co-signature.
• Answers questions and provides information to patients.
• Assists PT with exercises and helps patients onto equipment.
• Demonstrates proper use of equipment and exercises to patients.
• Keeps information confidential and maintains safety of the environment.
• Sterilizes and delivers equipment, positions patient and therapist for treatment.
• Maintains inventory and communicates supply needs.
• Records issues to be resolved and supports therapists as needed.
• Triages calls to schedule/reschedule appointments and handles front-desk tasks.
• Assists with collecting co-pays/deductibles and payments prior to service.
• Supports in scheduling new evaluations and patient flow.
• Provides coverage at front desk during uncovered hours.
