Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab is seeking a Part Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for South Pointe Healthcare Center in Indianapolis, IN. This in-house role supports residents through therapy and contributes to continuity of care within the CommuniCare family of more than 150 facilities.

The PTA will work at South Pointe and other centers as needed, collaborating with Physical Therapists to execute treatment plans and promote mobility and independence for residents.

Qualifications

• A Physical Therapy Assistant Degree from an Accredited Program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Physical Therapy Assistant License

Responsibilities

• Verifies client information by interviewing client;
• reviewing and/or recording medical history;
• confirming purpose of treatment
• helps clients improve quality of life by assisting movement and mobility, including rehabilitation for injured workers and individuals with learning or mobility challenges
• Implements treatment plan through direct treatment and collaboration with Physical Therapist, and educates team and families involved in the plan
• Opportunity to work at multiple centers to serve diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
