Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Physical Therapist to join our team. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Therapists are responsible for setting clear expectations for patients' clinical progress, executing treatments as promised, and providing items or documents such as Home Exercise Programs. They are expected to uphold a high standard of clinical excellence while maintaining 5-star customer service, turning passion into real impact through reliable delivery. Spear fosters a community environment for both patients and team members; a collaborative spirit is highly valued to ensure everyone receives the care and support they need.

Qualifications

• License to practice Physical Therapy in the State of New York
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, Master’s or Bachelor’s of PT

Physical Demands:

• Manual dexterity, strength, and endurance
• Lifting loads of 5-35 lbs from various positions
• Carrying loads of 5-10 lbs for 40-50 feet
• Pushing loads of 5-150 lbs on casters, runners, or pulleys
• Sustaining grip for 1-2 minutes of 40-50 lbs
• Guarding a lift load of 120-140 lbs

Salary range: $85,000 - $120,000 a year or hourly rate for part-time/per diem roles.
