Clifton Park Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist for a part-time position in Clifton Park, New York. The schedule offers a fixed, predictable week with no weekend shifts, providing time to connect with patients and maintain work‑life balance.

Clifton Park Physical Therapy is hiring for a Physical Therapist job in Clifton Park, New York, and we're looking for someone who wants time to actually connect with patients instead of racing through a packed schedule. This part-time position is built around a fixed, predictable weekly schedule, with no weekend shifts and no early morning call‑times during the week, so you can plan your life around your work instead of the other way around.
At Clifton Park Physical Therapy, every visit starts with understanding a patient's goals, concerns, and how their movement limitations show up in daily life. That approach shapes care plans that feel realistic and organized, with progress patients can recognize week to week rather than a generic protocol applied to every diagnosis. The same mindset carries over into how the clinical team works together: therapists collaborate, share insights, and support consistent care across visits so patients feel looked after from their first appointment through discharge.
That collaboration extends beyond the treatment room. The team gets together outside the clinic too, through team dinners, community events, and seasonal get‑togethers, which helps build the kind of working relationships that make it easier to cover for one another, ask questions, and keep care consistent when a patient sees more than one clinician over the course of treatment.
This role runs Monday through Thursday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, for 26 hours a week with no weekend requirements. That structure works well for clinicians managing morning family commitments, running a morning private practice, or pursuing continuing education. Care is paced at one‑on‑one treatment or a maximum of two patients per hour, and documentation time is built directly into the schedule using PROMPT EMR and AI Scribe, so charting happens during the workday instead of after 7:00 PM. Clinic aides handle flow, cleaning, and scheduling, which means clinical time stays focused on the patients in front of you.
You'll be treating a diverse outpatient orthopedic caseload spanning post‑operative recovery, sports injuries, and degenerative conditions, working in private treatment rooms designed for one‑on‑one attention alongside an open gym space suited to guided exercise. The clinic is equipped for real orthopedic rehab work, with treadmills, upright and recumbent bikes, strength machines, cable systems, Biodex equipment, traction units, and posture‑focused tools, so treatment plans can match what each patient actually needs rather than what the equipment allows. You'll also be working alongside an experienced team of peer physical therapists who are encouraged to keep growing clinically, supported by continuing education funding and time to actually use it.
