Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding, CA, is seeking a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I to join our dynamic laboratory team. The CPT I will perform skin puncture or venipuncture on patients of all ages and support routine lab operations under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma, active CPT I certification, and BLS within 45 days of hire. Prior clinical lab experience is preferred; part-time schedule, days shift, and competitive benefits are offered.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current and valid state CPT I certification is required.
• BLS certification within 45 days of hire and maintained current.
• Minimum of one year of clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform skin puncture or venipuncture on patients of all ages for blood specimens.
• Conduct data entry, filing, and telephone communication with accuracy.
• Demonstrate proper phlebotomy technique and equipment usage.
• Process specimens for multiple departments and reference laboratories.
• Stock supplies and maintain cleanliness of storage and work areas.
• Assist with sample pickup, delivery, and related duties as needed.
