Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Obtains quality blood samples using phlebotomy methods for all age groups.
• Ensures accurate patient identification, specimen labeling, processing, handling and transportation.
• May assist in patient adverse reactions and rapid response to emergencies.
• Communicates with patients and care teams to ensure high patient satisfaction.
• Handles sharps and biohazardous materials per regulatory requirements and HIPAA.
