Job summary

UWH of Pennsylvania is seeking a part-time Laboratory Phlebotomist to support the Lab team. You will draw blood, process requisitions, and ensure accurate documentation in the patient chart.

The role involves faxing GBBS results to L&D, maintaining the drawing room, and scheduling appointments while coordinating with the Lab Supervisor to uphold quality and safety standards in a busy clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Draw bloodwork according to policy.
• Process and enter requisitions for lab work.
• Fax GBBS results to L&D.
• Ensure in-house tests are ordered, drawn or received.
• Mark tests with diagnosis code on encounter form.
• Call patients regarding missed appointments.
• Maintain drawing room and monitor supplies.
• Coordinate with supervisor and colleagues to ensure quality.
