Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist 2 in Cape Carteret, NC for a part-time role (Mon-Fri 8:00-12:00). The PSR II represents the face of our company to patients, collecting blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing in a compliant, patient-centered manner.

The role requires 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, includes pediatric and geriatric collections, and offers responsibilities across multiple locations with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years phlebotomy experience, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily phlebotomy and blood collection accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Verify patient demographics and initials post-venipuncture to ensure tubes are labeled correctly.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate leadership, confidentiality, and accuracy in patient information handling.
