Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays/on-call.
• Valid driver's license and transportation if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify test orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Maintain patient identification and, when required, collect payments as per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, preparing for transport.
• Keep phlebotomy logs and related statistics current.
