Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Nutley, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomist I for Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The role collects specimens, administers oral solutions, and verifies orders while maintaining accurate data entry and billing processes.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification preferred (CA/NV/WA) and a year of phlebotomy experience or related customer service exposure. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain and enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
