Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to join our laboratory team in Bradenton, FL. Evenings and weekends shifts are required. You will collect specimens and support patient care while performing LIS/computer tasks.

High school diploma is required; a phlebotomy certificate program and certification are preferred. Prior phlebotomy experience (3 months+) is desirable. No license is required; orientation will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited phlebotomy certificate program preferred.
• At least 3 months of active phlebotomy experience preferred.
• No license required; phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Recent graduates of phlebotomy certificate programs may be considered in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs LIS / computer operations and clerical functions as needed.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required
• Other duties as assigned.
