Atlanta Technical College is seeking a part-time Adjunct Instructor for Pharmacy Technology to teach in the Health & Public Safety Technologies Division. The role is on-campus, with assignments mornings and/or afternoons, Monday through Friday, up to 29 hours per week.

The instructor will deliver classroom, lab, and clinical instruction, ensuring students gain essential Pharmacy Technology skills and professional standards in preparation for certification and employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications for this position will be determined by the teaching discipline and accreditation requirements.
• Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and develop program curriculum, syllabi, goals, and objectives.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain required documentation and reports.
• Attend professional development trainings and stay current with field trends.
• Meet with students and staff to discuss instructional programs and recruitment/job placement efforts.
• Teach pharmacy assistant courses in classroom/lab/field environments simulating industry settings.
• Provide instruction in pharmacy technology and assess student learning outcomes.
• Perform student advisement and contribute to program administration and budgeting.
