Job summary

Carolina Dunes Behavioral Health in Leland, NC is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician for Thursdays from 9:30am to 3:30pm. This onsite role supports pharmacists with dispensing, medication orders, billing, and stock management in a hospital-like setting.

You will prepare unit-dose medications, assist with controlled substances, manage stock in automated dispensing cabinets, and help with reports and inventory while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One or more years' experience as a Pharmacy Technician, in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fills physician medication orders under the direction of the Pharmacist.
• Delivers medications to units as required.
• Prepares unit dose tablets, capsules, and liquids and other specialty drug trays.
• Assists with dispensing of controlled substances and maintains records.
• Maintains stock in automated dispensing units and performs inventory and ordering functions.
• Performs daily billing and charge functions and reports adverse drug reactions.
