Job summary

Carolina Dunes Behavioral Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a Thursday-only shift from 9:30am to 3:30pm, with potential for additional days as needed. This on-site role supports pharmacists in medication orders, unit-dose prep, and inventory management within a hospital-like facility.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year of hospital pharmacy tech experience, and an active state license or certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One or more years’ experience as a Pharmacy Technician, in a hospital setting preferred.
• Active and in good-standing Pharmacy Technician license or certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Fills physician medication orders under the direction of the Pharmacist.
• Delivers medications to units and prepares unit dose forms.
• Maintains stock in automated dispensing units and orders medications.
• Assists with billing, inventory control, and disposal of patient medications.
• Reports adverse drug reactions and maintains accurate records.
