Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician in South El Monte, CA. You will support pharmacy operations, assist the pharmacy team, and help provide safe, compassionate patient care with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

You’ll complete required training, follow SOPs, and maintain attendance while assisting customers across in-store services and immunization support as permitted by state law.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on tasks and pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist patients and coworkers in a friendly manner.
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: compute totals, days supply, and refills.
• Problem Resolution: handle difficult patient or colleague interactions.
• Physical Demands: lift and move items and maintain mobility as required.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
