Job summary

Mercy Pharmacy Kennerly is hiring a Pharmacy Technician II on a part-time basis. The Technician assists pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications under supervision, adhering to all laws and safety standards.

Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma, Missouri tech registration (or willingness to apply by day one), and the required or preferred pharmacy experience. FBI background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalence.
• Licensure: Active Missouri Board of Pharmacy registration or willingness to submit by first day of work ( fingerprints for FBI background check ).
• Experience: 1-year relevant pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
• Other: Complete pharmacy department orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
• Be accountable to supervising pharmacist for care and safety of patients.
• Follow all applicable standards and federal, state and local regulations.
